What’s the deal with surveys, and focus groups too.

I have had some people try out a few paid survey sites and to report back to me with their findings.  I have been told that people have had trouble meeting the requirements for the survey and also many times being rewarded with an entry into a sweepstakes.  Complaints about being kicked out of a survey in mid stream have also been noticed.

After several months of regular surveying, some women had only managed to collect $10 to $20 or less.  Now this is a lot of effort for $10 - $20 when you think about it.  We would love to hear your survey stories.  Are you earning a profit?  Do you build up a reputation after consistent survey submissions?  Is one program better than the other? Basically what kind of effort is required to earn an acceptable amount of cash.  It’s all about the cash :)

We will report back to you with our findings, but the survey programs we are currently monitoring are:

I have had some luck with these.  I stumbled upon a group on the Internet called: http://www.greatopinions.com.  I signed up and immediately started getting calls for legitimate offline/online focus groups that you participate in for decent cash.  The last one was at a hotel in my town put on by a popular radio station.  It was 3 hours and the reward was $70 in cash at the end.  No questions asked, and no commitments.  I thought it was a great opportunity.  It was fun, the provided snacks and coffee.

I found the people that work for Great Opinions are nice people and very accommodating.  I would call them to remind them to contact me for any upcoming groups.

Go to the site and check it out.  They even had online focus groups that are fun too.
