M’sia Cabinet orders survey of buildings on hillslopes
KUALA LUMPUR – ALL local councils have a month to conduct surveys and submit reports of landslide risks to buildings on or near hillslopes under their jurisdiction. They have to find out if there is a need to evacuate residents or put in place engineering solutions to prevent a tragedy from occurring along hillslopes.
